Lent and Easter Schedule

Ash Wednesday Worship - March 5, 7 pm. All are welcome to worship as we begin the season of Lent.

Lenten Soup Suppers and Worship - March 12, 19, 26, and April 2, 9 - Soup at 6 pm and worship at 6:45 pm.

Maundy Thursday Worship, April 17, 7 pm.

Easter Sunday Worship - April 20, 10:30 am with brunch before worship at 9:45 am.

BINGO

UPC Family Bingo night for is back. Starting January 11 we will be hosting BINGO the second Saturday of each month thru April 12 2025.

Part way through the evening we will have a "KIDS ONLY GAME". Come and join the fun & conversation. There is no charge to play and you could win a nice prize.

CELEBRATING 160 YEARS OF SERVING WITH LOVE IN THE ROCKFORD, MN AREA

ALL YEAR LONG.

DRIVEWAY AND PARKING LOT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTĀ 

We will be replacing the church driveway and resurfacing the parking lot. Work will begin in early June and should be complete by the end of June. Over $12,500 has been donated towards the project.

THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN COMPLETED AT A TOTAL COST OF $29,000.

Volunteers Needed Ā 

Meals onĀ  wheels

Meals on Wheels:

The Delano Senior Center provides the Delano area Meals on Wheels program.Ā  Meals on Wheels serves the Delano, Franklin Township, Rockford, Independence, Loretto and Greenfield areas.Ā  If you or someone you know is over 60 years old, home bound and in need of a meal, arrangements can be made for meals to be delivered to your home Monday through Friday.Ā  Microwavable meals will be delivered on Friday for weekend meals if ordered.Ā  The suggest contribution is $5.00 per meal.Ā  Interested persons should call the Delano Senior Center at 763 972-0574.Ā  Two working days notice is necessary to order a meal.Ā  One working day notice must be given to cancel a meal.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEED TO MAKE DELIVERIES

Riverworks has a local food shelf that serves the Rockford and Greenfield area.

Discounted items are at the local thrift store. With 100% of the proceeds from the thrift store goes back into the community.


Volunteers are always welcome at both locations.

Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Clothing Closet

The Clothing Closet is open from 9-1 on Wednesday. Each shopper will be given 60 minutes to shop.

Donations of clothing and shoes are accepted during office hours. Please check in the office and they will direct you.

We do not accept appliances, furniture, or electronics.
